Re: 1st Edition signed copies
I have a first ed. of the first book, but not signed - I wish!
Just looked on abebooks and the ones available there range from US$75 to US$260 - depends which of the books and what condition it's in.
Do you have any, Paul?

Re: 1st Edition signed copies
When I first started to collect all thirteen books I would see the odd occasional one on ebay, but they always went for over £100.
Thats a bit too rich for my blood, although its nice to know that the books and POD's signature are so highly valued.
Overall my favorite book must be I Lucifer as its the one I'v re read so many times, so perhaps if a first edition signed copy of that came up I would consider it.
How about you, which ones your favorite?

Re: 1st Edition signed copies
My favourite is definitely Sabre Tooth.
I think if I were to get one signed personally by POD, it would mean a lot to me (i.e. as a memento of meeting him!), but apart from that, I find it strange that our culture gets so excited over signatures.
Once I'd collected the entire series MB books, I started then started collecting different covers/editions, but soon realized I'd easily spend FAR too much money if I kept that up... so I came to the conclusion is that all I really need is one copy of each, to read. (And reread).
