What format to you prefer for MB discussions?
Poll: Forum or Mailing list? (or both)
Hi everyone
Based on the email discussions, here's a poll for everyone to vote. You can also leave comments after. Thanks so much for participating in the discussion! Glad to know there's still so much interest...

Re: Poll: Forum or Mailing list? (or both)
Hi everyone, I thought I'd set the poll up so that anyone could vote, but just found out from a guest that only registered users can vote (either I have no control over that or just haven't found out how, yet) - SORRY! So much for getting to grips with technology.
If you're posting a message but don't see the option to vote, let me know and I can put your vote in for (and you can, of course, post the message anonymously)
And yes, this is why it would be good to have someone more technically savvy co-administer. *wink*

Forum or List
I can't see where to vote!
I prefer to keep the mail list, and think that having a forum as well would unnecessarily split up an already fairly select group of fans.
All best,
Paul Woods

thumbs down on the forum
I can't see where to vote either. I prefer the list. As it is, we are already fragmented -- there are several Facebook groups now as well. I think we are too small a niche to support multiple communications methods.
I favor push to get as well (now maybe if the forum had some sort of RSS feed, so I knew when new posts came?...)

(I will send this to the list as well)

Yeah, it's looking like we don't have too many takers, and I definitely don't want to fragment the small group we already have. Just thought this might be more usable.
I'll leave this up if/while anyone else wants to weigh in; or maybe we will still find a solution that meets all needs...

THUMBS UP FOR THE FORUM!
The forum won't destroy the mail list. There's nothing very much happening on the mail list anyway.
Look on this as the mail list's forum.
There's so much more we can all offer this group of enthusiasts through a forum like this.

you couldn't see Willies coloured strips in the list so I'm in favor of the forum as you should be able to search on a particular topic easier than on the list.
